Hi Ron, I have followed your reviews on Goodreads for years now. I, as you once did, am serving in the military as a Logistics officer. I am curious, what advice do you have for a complete beginner interested in learning to paint using watercolor? What materials do I need to purchase? Second, how do you choose which books to read next? And could you share one recommendation for bible studies?

Ron Andrea I had painted oils before. Watercolor is totally different. I took courses at the local community college to learn the basics. Then I recommend finding a small group of watercolorists to paint with. We met once a week and discussed what we were doing and what worked. It also encouraged me to keep painting.
My book choosing method is pretty random.
I haven't found a Bible study that is consistently good. Some have valuable insights, but many seem too worldly.
