Hi Jodi! 👋 Getting my barely-young-adult son into the classic sci-fi stuff, and this weekend we started on the original "The Twilight Zone" series. Of course the 1st episode, "Where Is Everybody?" Made him gasp, as the main character is in a jumpsuit. I'm ashamed to say, he caught this before I did - but of course he wants to know if this was inspiration. 🥰

Hello. Kudos on getting your sun into classic sci-fi. And The Twilight Zone as well! No, the jumpsuit wasn't inspired by Where is Everybody. When I was putting together my thoughts for St Mary's, I spent some time thinking about what they would wear - what was practical - and so forth. Jump suits seemed ideal - especially as techies often wear orange. I chose blue for historians because it was my favourite colour.

A thought occurred to me as I was listening to the Elizabeth Cage series. Does the Sorenson Clinic eventually turn into the Red House clinic that we know from St Mary's? They seem to both have the same front of catering to the rich and famous while having nefarious things going on underneath.

Hello Jodi, I love the Chronicles of St Mary's series. As a tea lover, I have always wondered, which type of tea does each character drink?? There could be some comedy in including this information and having them comment on each other's preferences. You've already given some thoughts about coffee vs tea a few times, and it's always fun. THANK YOU!

Hi Jodi
I think you are wonderful & I get SO wrapped up in your books.
I note you said you were planning on a follow up on Long Shadows; when were you looking to publish it? I felt unsatisfied at the end of Long Shadows - I couldn’t work out if Jones & Cage were going to be romantically together as it seemed ambiguous & Caged deserved to have that love from MJ.
