I’m reading Framed and am horrified by the injustices, abuse of power, and sheer ignorance of facts. The way people treated these human beings with lives and families was so casual. How did writing this book change how you develop your characters for your fiction novels?

John Grisham Please continue to be horrified because these stories are the tip of the iceberg of our screwed up criminal justice system. These stories give me enormous inspiration for slightly fictionalized novels.

Thanks for all you do for us!! I have to read books in order to see how an author develops. Went back to A Time To Kill after seeing The Client (movie), and was amazed at how you drew us in. The Chamber made me ask questions of myself in regards to the Death Penalty and thinking about my beliefs. As a lawyer, probably more of a tough question, has writing changed your thoughts on topics like the Death Penalty?
