Oscar Wilde. Writers would be Virginia Woolf, Anais Nin, Anna Kavan, Mavis Gallant, could be Henry James--that or hate him--Chekhov. Tennessee Williams. Sei Shonagon. Junichiro Tanazaki and Mishima. John Fante, Isherwood, Proust. Albertine Sarrazin, Genet. Francoise Mallet-Joris, Nathalie Sarraute. Marguerite Duras. Many others but this is the flavor of her imagination.
