I'm thinking that this part may have just gotten muddled up for me. At the very end, Sadie makes reference to Nancy and the boy saying that they would be pursuing a civil case against her now that they knew her "true identity." Is this something we are supposed to know too? Do they really know who she is? This is the only bit of narrative information that could have saved this book for me and I need answers!
