Is Vieve from Finishing School transgender? I realize that a girl or a woman can present as masculine without being transgender, but I’m curious as to if she is.

Gail Carriger Given the time period & culture of the setting I don't think Vieve has the language to articulate what she might be. and later on in life the narrator (me) continues to refer to her as a she, even as she always cross dresses.
