I wish I could read Flowers of Vashnoi in print. I wasn't fast enough to get the limited edition from Subterranean Press. Is there any likelihood of getting this novella in print in some other way, like a compilation with something else? I may have to break down and figure out how to download the ebook, but I don't really like those.

Not any time soon, but I have been mulling whether to set it up as some sort of print-on-demand volume, probably combined with "Winterfair Gifts", which has no separate paper volume at all. It would be a fair amount of work, but do-able.
It was pubbed on paper, back when, in the Baen omnibus volume Miles in Love, still available variously used. And also as an ebook, I see.
Ebooks are incredibly easy, once over the first hump. I hang out in the Amazon ecosystem myself, but other vendors have similar offerings. Just download the free Kindle app, which may be found somewhere on their home page or near it, to whatever device you read on -- laptop, tablet, phone, or desktop -- and you should be ready to purchase. (Well, there's a credit card registration in there somewhere, natch.)
I read almost nothing but ebooks these days, due to eyesight issues. Instant large print!

Hi Lois...I just finished "Dangerous Liaisons" (the book, although seeing the movie inspired the reading), and I was wondering if it had any influence on your backstory for Aral's first wife and her affairs in the capital amongst "not altogether vicious" older people. Or were these ideas in the air, or in your romance reading of the time?

Lois McMaster Bujold:
Just a comment about the difference of reading a physical book vs an ebook. I purchased "The Curse of Chalion" back in 2001 and held onto it for over 12 years before I got my first Kindle. The book shows all the wear and literally over a hundred times that I've gone through it - but the e-readers can't show any of that. Isn't there something very different from handling a physical book and flipping through pages?

Did you plan the progression of the temples in the world of the five gods or was it serendipity? The four square temples with the extra tower where Chalionese Quintarians replace Roknari Quadrenes through a vaguely impressive Easthome temple and various nook temples and a clear description of the Martensbridge six lobed flower in a flourish of impressive Darthacan design?
