I wish you the best of luck! However, there are thousands of different ways of writing books, and everybody has different ways which work well for them.
The best that I can offer in general is: read a lot (both inside and outside your chosen field) and write a lot. Practice may not make perfect, but it does help you improve.
Also, do try reading your dialogue aloud, even if it's only subvocalising; it does help you feel whether it sounds like normal speech, and to pick up on unnatural cadence.

Hello! If this question gives too much away, then don't answer! But is this series a trilogy, and end with the third book? I am hoping not, because I feel like there's so much about the Library, the multiverse, and the struggles between the dragons and fairies still to learn! Congratulations on the success of your first two books! They are simply enjoyable reads.
