My advice is to write, write, write. Take classes, go to conferences, find a critique partner. And don't give up. It can take a long time, but every hour you spend learning your craft will matter in the end.

Hi!! Love all your books...i think there are a couple i have missed so getting them from the library! Nearly every book makes me cry, the emotion that you put into them is truly amazing and so heart felt. Do they make You cry as you are writing or editing?? And has your editor every told you to pull back on the emotion??
