Damon Alan Write that first sentence. Even if you go back and delete it later, once you get that first sentence out you're on the move. I find that I often can't stop once I get going. A few days ago I edited for seventeen hours. Fortunately my wife is a busy RN manager and I have plenty of time to do this. If that still doesn't work, talk to a writer. One that cares about your work and will motivate you.
