How do you come up with your characters?

Jayne Rylon That's a tough one. I guess they're based on a mash up of people I know in some ways but also they are borne out of whatever the story needs. Most of the time I start just with two characters who have some reason they can't be together or some situation that I think is interesting and I put some "people" in it to see what happens. Sometimes I get inspiration from pictures. For Hot Rods, I started with a collection of photographs I'd seen on Sophia Renee's site. I made up a background for each person and went from there.
