Maria Rose Without giving away many details since many of the comments responses come from those who read by audio, I read the book and it was quite clear in the end, that the main characters-_ I am referring to the main narrator who got "fired" and Graham was trying to correct a negative impact caused by future time loopers using the mechanism which was from the future not the present-day made of the story
