Can this be read as a stand alone? Or would I have to read the previous 2 books in the series first?

Boo…moreYou absolutely should read the first book first. You have to be introduced to Lily and hear her whole story before you go into the next two books. Book 2 was not very good, but I still enjoyed it because of Lily's character being in there a bit. Book 3 is still not as good as the first book but closer and Lily is back to being a main character.
