Kathleen asked:

Can this be read as a stand alone? Or would I have to read the previous 2 books in the series first?

Tracy You could read this out of order or as a stand alone, but this series is SO GOOD. I highly recommend starting with book 1 to really enjoy it all in order.
Gerry I haven't read the first one just the second but there was a lot of info given that I didn't have any problem with this one. I do plan on reading the first one soon.
K17a17s You absolutely should read the first book first. You have to be introduced to Lily and hear her whole story before you go into the next two books. Book 2 was not very good, but I still enjoyed it because of Lily's character being in there a bit. Book 3 is still not as good as the first book but closer and Lily is back to being a main character. Enjoy!
Jillian I would recommend reading the first two first!! They are both so good and this will be more fun if you do.
Cynthia Absolutely! Although I’ve read all three, he gave more than enough background information on the main characters in this, making it very easy to understand who they are and what their history is without reading the other two.
Triciad25 Yes, I read this one and haven’t read the first 2.
Sophie I haven't read this book yet, but several reviews mention that this can be a stand-alone.
