Hi Mr. Reynard, one of the things I love about Gabriel's series is the amount of historical knowledge in them, do you have any sort of background in the subject or is this the product of extensive research? Oh and I am really looking forward to read The Raven, the premise sounds so dark and mysterious that I think it will be a hard book to put down!

The novels are products of research. I like to develop the characters and story line as much as possible and so I spend a lot of time doing research for the books. I enjoy doing it and i enjoy the writing process.
