Is this an overrated book (since it has been compared to Eleanor & Park and The Fault In Our Stars) or is it worth buying? Opinions, anyone? :)

NO this is NOT an overrated book! One of the best. The style is very close to The Fault in Our Stars though. It is most definitely worth reading.
