Is this an overrated book (since it has been compared to Eleanor & Park and The Fault In Our Stars) or is it worth buying? Opinions, anyone? :)

The emotional feel of the book did remind me a lot of John Green though, how it can be heart warming and heart breaking all at the same time. EDIT: also just thought i'd add that my mum has bipolar, anxiety, depression and post traumatic stress disorder and I thought that it portrayed the manic moments as a result of bipolar quite accurately.(less)
