Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Laura R. Carson Release (Sticks & Stones #1) started out as its polar opposite when I first started writing it, but people aren't bullshitting when they say characters really speak to you. I can't really say anything specifically influenced the version of Release that will be published, it was really what the characters wanted. (Good thing readers & writers understand that or someone would be passing me the medication :) ).
