Have you thought about making With Every Breathe into a series? The book was amazing! I loved the characters of Tick and Irene. It would be great to know the back story about Irene, and to see her grow.

What a great question! With Every Breath is probably my favorite of all my novels. I actually did toy with the idea of a short novella featuring Tick and Irene..... and yes, they would be a pair. At the time With Every Breath was published, I was still working a day job and had no time for writing novellas, so I had to shelve the idea..... but yes, I intended Irene to be a charming irritant that Tick simply could not ignore. I doubt I'll ever write it, but I'm glad you were curious about them! If I ever dust off that idea and get it published, I'll post an update here.
