A real collection of unlikable characters.Overrated in the extreme. Motivation of characters not always obvious, and sometimes not convincing. I am a fast and usually good reader but this book challenged me. The game is not worth the candle but my book group selected this based on top reviews. What am I going to do??! I shall have to read it. It is the worst book in the 25 years we have been meeting. (less)
