Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Becca Rowan Life In General is a compilation of essays and blog posts I’ve written over the past eight years, all related to the process of crossing the border into middle age. I intended it mainly as a personal project, a way to archive the writing I’d done online into a tangible book I could offer to friends and family. It has turned out to have a wider audience than I expected, and because of that I’ve been able to connect with so many other women at my stage of life who say they feel inspired and encouraged by my stories.
