Lois McMaster Bujold:
In The Sharing Knife world do you know in your mind what happened in the past with the old sorcerers and absent gods? Is that something you worked out or is it an event/history that you only thought about superficially to give setting to the Dag and Fawn's world?
Lois McMaster Bujold
It was not worked out in detail, only in broad outline. So no, there is no notebook full of elaborate worldbuilding extant, but there are constraints -- the shape of the box into which anything considered must fit.
(There is no certainty on either the characters' parts or mine if there ever were real gods in this world, though there is certainly real magic power.)

Love Your latest series of book, world of 5 gods. Going back and reading he orld of the Five Gods and keeping up with World of the Five Gods : Penric & Desdemona. You write so well. I wish I could write as well as you. Does your editor and friends help you as you write a book or when you finish? I have written a couple of books but that is far as it goes since I keep slipping into present tense from past tense.

Just curious - do you have names in mind for Cordelia's future daughters, or Jole's future sons? Do you think you might ever write about them? Or about Ivan and Tej's children, if they choose to have any? These little teases of what might happen next always leave me so curious.

Dear Lois, Some of your books are not easy to find and others appear out of publication. Also, living in Portugal, even if I buy them on British Amazon or American Amazon, I might have to pay high shipping fees depending if they go through customs. Is there any plan for re-editions of all your books to mass-market paperbacks or hardcovers?
