What has been your biggest hardship in publishing your book and do you think you are stronger because of it?

Publishing any book but especially a memoir is terrifying because a large number of people you don't even know are making judgements about the quality of your work and in a sense the life choices you've made.
So I wouldn't say I'm stronger so much as more neurotic.
