Hey man! Are you going as crazy as i am waiting for your book?? I was wondering if you could give me some insight into how the Kettral train their Leeches? Can Leeches use their wells to affect themselves, like become faster or stronger? Prolong their life? ;) Last question. Can leeches affect people directly, like i know they can crush them or set them on fire but like twist their minds?

I'm really looking forward to the release -- can't wait to hear what people make of this second volume.
As for the Kettral leach training -- it's very, very hard for leaches to change themselves, no one quite understands why. As far as mental manipulation goes, that's a more open question, but if it IS possible, it's a highly refined skill, one known to very few leaches. The Kettral training, while valuable, might not be the best training available to leaches, given the fact that the Kettral want to train the entire warrior.

When I was young my teacher told me that I was good at writing and that I should do more of it. In my practice I always found myself blocked by one problem and still do today: Defining the different natures of the characters. What they're going to say, how they're going to act or react to a certain situation doesn't seem to flow naturally. How do you do it? and Thank you above all for your amazing work.

I just finished the Chronicle of the Unhewn Throne series and I would like to say thank you! They had the "thing" I look for in every book I read - that once it gets going I cannot put it down.
I especially enjoyed the Kettral storylines and thus I have a question - what happens after? Was that it for them with only one bird left? Or did Gwenna and the Flea manage to or at least try to get the Eyrie going again?

I would like to start by saying, I know it is insanely early to be asking this, but do you have any idea when Book 3 will be coming out? I could not put the first or the second book down, and I just need more of the story! Also is the any way to ensure the best chance of receiving an ARC copy of the book? (1 of 3)
