I know people ask you about the books and characters. But I wish in inquire about your health.? You do not have to answer. But i hope you are extra healthy. I worry when my favorite Authors are getting a bit older. I wish you all would live forever.

I do glance into the mirror occasionally and think, "Eh, not bad for 74." Low bar, perhaps. I have no dramatic health issues at the moment, just a concatenation of minor aggravations of aging. (List available on request, but, really.) Pretty sure I wouldn't like to live forever, but I have no expectation of checking out in the immediate future.
Thank you for your concern!

Hello! I wanted to thank you first, you are one of my favourite authors. I discovered that I have trouble introducing miles to new readers. Cordelia's Honor works with women, but they want a Cordelia book after. Warriors Apprentice- a friend said, fun read, but she did not crave for the next book. it really had me thinking. Maybe Memory is a good start for readers who shy away from space opera?

I own most of your books in ebook and eaudio format but get most of the rest of my e-reading/listening from the library. Did you know publishers charge libraries crazy amounts for their ebooks? The example of a current popular book my library gave was $55 for a $15 ebook and $95 for a $40 audio. Then they have to rebuy in either 2 years or a certain number of checkouts. I realize publishers are in it for money but..

I have just finished "The Knife Children" and enjoyed it immensely but had hoped for an update on Dag and Fawn (and the whole Clearwater crew). Any chance of a further work with them as a focus? I would think there's lots of room to expand on the state of the new shields and their uptake, not to mention second generation doings. This whole series is one of my go to comfort reads for too many reasons to name.
