Mrs. Read asked this question about
The Hunter:
Woman’s dog introduced on first page. In my experience this means trouble coming in connection with dog. Is the dog, or any other animal, injured, abused, hurt in the book? Is it about actual hunters with guns shooting at animals?
This is important to me so will truly appreciate answers. Thanks.
Maureen Richler
No. Nothing happens to any dogs. The characters have dogs and they are well treated. No hunting. Didn’t like the book tho!
