I absolutely loved your book The House of Eve. I am oldish white lady, let's just say I qualify for a senior citizen discount. I found the book so relatable and well written. Well done! Though I have a question, I read the epilogue and thought, what about Shimmy? Did Ruby ever contact him or vice versa?

Sadeqa Johnson Thank you so much for reading THE HOUSE OF EVE. As far as I know, Ruby kept to her promise and did not contact Shimmy. Her future was at stake and she desperately needed to go to college. I hope this helps!
