All I can say is WOW - Yellow Wife blew me away and I had never read such a book where the female character was as strong as Pheby Brown. Thank you for writing the epilogue and it was so helpful to hear her strong relationship with Hester and what her sacrifices made. You books are all over the place in times/ settings. Do you feel you will write another book on southern/plantation/slavery issues?

Sadeqa Johnson Not in the near future. Yellow Wife took a lot out of me and while I'm so grateful that the story and characters chose to come through me it was hard work. My next novel, The House of Eve, takes place in the 1940s and 50s and will be published on February 7, 2023. I hope you'll give it a read.
