[Answering questions that I wasn't able to get to during our book launch party.] From Knoxville Lucas: ""From your perspective, how did you feel your own faith grow and change as you composed, refined, and polished this manuscript? By extension: how do you feel the manuscript shaped you as you were writing it? Are there any surprising truths you found to be true about yourself as you articulated the book?

(view spoiler)[In some older drafts, I wrote Isaac as forging his own kind of Christianity. What's funny: I was nowhere near there myself, and I think I was apologizing to the reader for that. I didn't believe I'd ever again find anything in Christianity to call my own, and that's despite launching a Bible podcast and everything.
Eventually, Isaac and I traded places. He ends up something like irreligious, but appreciative of his spouse's theology, whereas I've found my own kind of Christianity, something of a combination between Kori's space-brained process theology and Alexa's brute-force liberation theology. Ultimately, they're about the same thing: Our world being made new by love. (hide spoiler)]

What should we be worried about with evangelicalism growing in political importance, and how can exvangelicals and other religious refugees stop it?"
