What drew you to write historical romances?

Glynnis Campbell Like most of us, I grew up on fairy tales, which always seemed to be set in medieval times. My dad introduced me to the King Arthur and Robin Hood legends, and I grew up a block away from the beautiful woods of Bidwell Park in Chico, California, aka Sherwood Forest in the Errol Flynn "Robin Hood" film. So my childhood was filled with adventures and romance centered around the Middle Ages.
