Sarah asked A.G. Howard:

What inspired Morpheus? He is such an unique character, and I think it would be so hard to put together a character like him. Also how do you think of all the funny things he says? He is awesome by the way.

A.G. Howard So glad you like him! Here's a post I did once about how I came up with him: http://authoraghoward.blogspot.com/20...

As for his funny dialogue, I honestly don't know, because it feels like he's feeding me his lines. I guess I'm just so deep in character while I'm writing him, that it's like we're one and the same.

But, there are times I'll write a piece of dialogue for him and I actually snort out loud or blush, because even I was surprised *he* came up with it. Those are the lines that I know are going to be keepers.

He's so fun to write. :)
