Do you thoroughly plot out your books; or do they just kind of write themselves?

Glynnis Campbell I'm a plantser--half plotting and half writing by the seat of my pants! I don't do detailed outlines, but I work out a rough road map. As I'm writing, ideas sometimes pop into my head that make the plot veer off in another direction. It feels like chaos, but I've decided that's my method!
