Do you like surprises? What’s the best one you perpetrated or that was a surprise for you?

Glynnis Campbell I have mixed feelings about surprises. I don't like mean practical jokes or being taken somewhere when I'm not dressed appropriately. But I love it when someone does a hated task for me as a surprise or brings me a little gift or invites me out with several hours' warning (or none if I'm dressed appropriately!). The silliest surprise was one I perpetrated. I threw myself a surprise 40th birthday party. I invited the guests I wanted, using my mom's name on the invitation, and had them meet at my favorite restaurant! I acted surprised, and I don't think anyone ever found out.
