Mark Lawrence Hi Issam. Grim Oak Press has had special editions of my work on sale continuously for the last 6 years or so. There was the Broken Empire omnibus (sold out), the The Red Queen's War omibus (sold out), then the 10th anniversary Prince of Thorns (sold out), and then the 10th anniversary editions of King of Thorns and, recently, Emperor of Thorns, both of which can still be purchased.

The Book of the Ancestor omnibus is on the way, and 10th anniversary editions of Prince of Fools, The Liar's Key, and The Wheel of Osheim are planned.

I have read both trilogies. I really enjoyed them. In Nona Grey, the scene of the test of the shield and the test of fire of the Abbess Glass was one of the most emotional moments I have read in a fantasy book. When you finished writing it, were you satisfied? Did you write it in one go? Or did you change it several times?

I see myself as more of a gardener, than architect, but I need a small outline to know my way around the garden. How do you keep track of it all, without intensive re-reading or notes? How do you do your editing? Do you use the whole first draft as an outline, or do you edit line for line, or anything else? Loved all books set in the Broken Empire and the trilogy aobut Nona. Keep up the great work!
