What’s the best thing about being a writer?

April Daniels I don't consider myself a writer. In the professional sense. I write EVERY DAY, sometimes several times a day, for myself. For clarity. For understanding.

And, that is the best thing about being a writer for me.

I wonder if painters, musicians and other artists have the same feeling? If so, then I guess I'm a writer. But, the intent has never been to write a best seller. I've written for myself, my therapy, and my growth. Selfish, I guess, but it's my way of finding clarity and peace in my life.
