Goodreads asked April Daniels:

What are you currently working on?

April Daniels Well, it snowed in Utah and I'm going to shovel the walks. Play with the dogs in the snow (they think the whole word threw them a party), and clean the kitchen.

I'm working on continuing my growth and living each day with authenticity and love.

In short, I'm not a writer, in the professional sense. I wrote Paperdolls & Cowboy Boots because after my family session in the early 90s, my therapist told me that all my writings, poems, etc show the healing process from A-Z. She asked me to compile them, then she would write sections to explain what was happening. I did.

The story of how the book continued to be developed, and how I ended up approaching Carol Scott, is included in Paperdolls & Cowboy Boots.
