Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

January Bain The idea for my newest work, Lightning Strikes, came just recently when I wanted to write about a healer (former prostitute) against a huge event backdrop. Decided on the Klondike with its wealth of inspirational characters and events. Been rereading Pierre Burton's, The Golden Trail and watching Deadwood and rereading its scripts to prepare. Jack London and Robert Service are also part of the research. Fascinating stuff!!!
