Dana
Dana asked Rose Rosetree:

What is it like to be the founder of Energy Spirituality? Do you like being "first" at something, or is it challenging in some way that other people don't notice? I have been learning about leaders during challenging times and I think you would fit the bill. I have such respect for your work in the world especially because of how leading edge it is. Do you find generally that people respect your work?

Rose Rosetree Dana, three questions at least -- all wrapped up as one question. I like that!
Starting off...

What is it like to be the founder of Energy Spirituality?

In a way, it's familiar. In a way, not. Between 1969 and 1985, I did what I could to help Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, and his Transcendental Meditation Movement. As one of his initiators, I learned about doing service, To me, that never feels fancy, but it does feel good.

For details about that, Dana and other Goodreaders, just google on "Rose Rosetree Teaching TM + Precedent" -- and include those quotation marks. You'll find three articles about the nitty-gritty, what it was like setting three precedents for a large organization.

By contrast, founding Energy Spirituality® didn't happen as though I was founding a thing. This field grew and grew, as a matter of service to my clients and students. If I had known how much there would be to this work, or how beautifully the different specialties would fit together, this might have seemed overwhelming.

It wasn't until last year, 2023, that I finally obtained a trademark for Energy Spirituality, and it started in 1986.

What has it been like? Notably, moments of inspiration.

Otherwise? As Maharishi used to say, "Life is either bliss or lessons."

What is it like to being first at the many specialties of Energy Spirituality?

Not like being awarded first prize at the county fair, due to growing a very large pumpkin. ;)

Each of the 10 trademarked systems, like Aura Reading Through All Your Senses® or Empath Empowerment®, has been cocreated with Divine help. So I haven't been tempted to take credit for "leadership." Although I do my human best to honor the inspiration by writing books, offering online workshops, and sessions.

You've called me a "leader", Dana. I thank you for that.

In hindsight, I agree that it's true. The fun part is how the innovations and discoveries keep on coming.

Do I find generally that people respect my work?

Look, some do and some don't. My attention goes to those folks I can help.

Thanks for asking, Dana.
