The healthiest approach to writing is as a hobby that's enjoyable in and of itself. That way, if nothing comes of it, like when you paint minatures, or go hiking, you will have enjoyed yourself and have no regrets.
The odds against making significant money are stupendous and skill is only one of several factors that must align.

Hey Mark! I read the prologue you provided in your blog and I saw the word 'northern ice' came up. So i thought it would take place in Broken Empire. But in reddit you commented -"Whole new world!" So where is it exactly going to take place? I mean in Broken empire or a new world

Hi Mark, I just finished Prince of fools and abselutly loved it and I thought this anti- hero side a breath of fresh air. I am from Iceland and recognized few words from my language that gave the story a extra value for me. Is Snorri meant to be from Iceland or is it just open for interpretation, like any northern Viking country and second question, when does this story take place, I mean Stocholm syndrome ? :)
