What are you currently working on?

Myke Cole My 4th novel, GEMINI CELL, is coming out in about a month. I'm am *this close* to a first draft on JAVELIN RAIN, the sequel to GEMINI CELL. Both books are prequels, taking place many years before the first novel in my SHADOW OPS trilogy, CONTROL POINT. The goal here is to give readers a place they can start without having read any of my other work, but also to give fans of the original series something familiar to hold on to.

I'm also waiting on my agent's verdict on the 5th draft of THE FRACTURED GIRL, a "grimdark" medieval fantasy novel in the tradition of Mark Lawrence's BROKEN EMPIRE series. The protagonist is a gay, 13 year-old girl, so I am really pushing the envelope for what I can do, and succeed or fail, and I am really proud of that effort.
