Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Patrick Hodges I was overcome by a wave of nostalgia in early 2014, and I started remembering my middle-school days. I have a lot of good memories, but just as many bad ones. I started playing a fantasy in my head of how I wish my middle-school years could have gone if I'd been able to create my own destiny. Nine months later, I had a story with a beginning, middle and end, and I figured, "I should probably write this down."

Three months and countless revisions later, my finished product is now ready for the world to see. My greatest wish is that everyone who reads it can take something positive from it.
