Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

D.P. Bowkett I’ve always loved sci-fi and fantasy. I grew up loving Doctor Who, Star Wars and Star Trek and more recently Heartstopper. About five years ago I kept getting this idea of aliens called shadowers. I think it was the imposter syndrome in me. Over time it kept growing as an idea. In May this year I had a few work projects delayed so I started writing down the plot and eight weeks and 101,000 words later Max and the Hidden Visitor was born.
