I enjoy your comments & reviews, & I'm desperate for another really great read. I love books like Crown Duel, Trouble with Kings, Graceling & Fire, Chima's Seven Realms series, Megan Whalen Turner...? You get the idea. Thanks so much!

Sherwood Smith Let's see . . first to mind is Robin McKinley's The Blue Sword, one of my favorites, and its sort-of prequel, The Hero and the Crown. And have you discovered Lois McMaster Bujold? Then there is a lifelong fave, which I discovered because it had Sherwood in the title, The Sherwood Ring by Elizabeth Marie Pope. Wildwood Dancing, by Juliet Marrilier.

All of those have a fantasy or SF element as well as lively heroines and interesting heroes, then there is Hillary McKay, begin with Saffy's Angel. That's a good start--if you like these, let me know and I can recommend lots more! Or even if you don't, or just want to discuss them. I love reading discussions!

Hey Sherwood, I was wondering if you have any story ideas such as characters, items, or places that you've thrown out or given up on that I can use for one of my stories? The story that I'm thinking of is about an island where all story bits end up if they are thrown out or given up on. I've asked other authors so I can get a variety and some truth to the story. I found Revnant Eve in Audible but not Coronets and Steel or Blood Spirits. Why is book 3 of the series the only one on Audible and when will 1&2 be recorded so I can purchase them?
