Thank you! Hope you get your request, and if not, publishing is only a month away now! As for inspiration, a lot of different pieces went into the world of RED QUEEN, but the end days of the Roman Empire and the subsequent power vacuum/Dark Ages after its fall were definite sparks in my worldbuilding.
