(view spoiler)[Hi Carmen,
Thank you for reading my books. No, the main characters in Take Me On, West and Haley, are not drug addicts. I won't lie, West has smoked pot before, a lot like Noah in Pushing the Limits and Beth in Dare You To, but there is no drug use in Take Me On.
I write stories that deal with real issues. I have not written a main character who has a hard core substance abuse issues yet, but I haven't ruled it out. Everyone has certain subjects that they feel comfortable reading and not reading about and I understand if I was to write a book about this in the future that it would be one you avoid.
Thank you so much for reading my books. I absolutely love Ryan, too!
I hope you have a Merry Christmas!

Hi Katie, not sure if my question went through..so I'm submitting it again, so I apologize if you have already answered it. Is there something wrong with Stone? I think it was briefly mentioned in the previous books, but I just can't remember. It seems like he has some kind of anxiety or a bit of social phobia. Can you tell me what exactly is wrong with him?

Hi Kaite! I think it's great that you have a section here for fans to ask questions, and that you respond :) I'd like to know about what consideration you give to how your novels help construct teenagers' views on love and relationships. What's your thought process - do you hope to give them something to emulate or are you writing something they can escape into? Or is that binary an oversimplification? Thank you!
