Hey David, eagerly awaiting the audio version of Endfall, while I wait I was curious, is Shadebound and Demon's Reign in the same universe as the Kingfall chronicles and Fatemarked epic? Or are the both in separate universes?

David Estes Thanks so much for your patience and support, Jacob! It's looking like Feb/March 2024 for the Endfall audio version as Tim Gerard Reynolds is awesome and thus, in high demand. With him as narrator, it will be worth the wait! Shadebound and Demon's Reign are not in the same world as Fatemarked and Kingfall (though you might've noticed I subtly mentioned both during Kingfall, just for fun). They are completely separate trilogies. The Last King trilogy (Shadebound is the first book) is completely done in all formats, so you can read/listen from start to finish. The Bloodwood trilogy (Demon's Reign is the first book) has one book out, with the sequel set to release in Feb 2024. The final book is currently being written.

As far as Kingfall/Fatemarked...I can confirm I am working on a third 5-book series set in the same world! The series will be titled The Forsworn Oath (book 1 will be called Forsworn). I am about 80% done with it, but of course it will still require editing and the production of the audio version, so it could be a while before it's published. That said, I'll be writing the sequels in the meantime, and will hopefully be able to release 2 to 3 books in short succession, before digging in and writing the last two books.
