Hi there! I have a question, I'm planning to start reading your books soon, and I have the Slip trilogy. Do you think I should start with it or? I dunno, which is closer to your heart?
David Estes
Hi Hanna! Thanks so much for your question and for your interest in my books. In my own personal opinion, the Slip trilogy is my best series, so I think that's a very good place to start. However, my most popular and successful series is my Dwellers/Country Saga (first book: The Moon Dwellers), so that's another option. I think it depends on what kind of mood you're in. If you want to explore a technologically advanced city with cyborgs, automatic cars, and floating holo-advertisements, then you'll love the Slip Trilogy. If you'd prefer to go on an underground adventure in a huge dystopian world below the surface of the earth, then you'll enjoy The Moon Dwellers.
I hope this helps and that whatever you decide you enjoy the read! I can't wait to hear what you think!

I'm takin my time through Forsworn because I want to catch all the references. However, in chapter 14, the door on the wall of Welbernius' tavern is killing me! I know it is a direct call back to something but I can't place it. Was it in "Nightfall" that Commander Helm and his crew visit a similar tavern?

I have just finished reading Dragonfall (absolutely amazing) when i realised the Fatemarked series was actually similar to that of a sequel to Kingfall, should i abandon reading Magefall for now and swap to reading Fatemarked?I was also wondering if your book came in hardcover because it would avoid making the cover crumpled which might ruin the magnificent artwork.
