Hi Jodi! Another thrilling episode in the life of Max and St Mary's, which I could not devour fast enough - thank you for another great read. Ah, Miss Lingoss - the mention of whom reminds me of her nickname, and a chuckle. From the same book, as I recall, was a reference to Carpets and Curtains - or, as I know it, Collars and Cuffs. (Amazing! All are alliterative!). Will we have to wait long for the next TP novel?

Hi Steve, Thanks for your kind message. Fear not - I'm just finishing off Killing Time now and it should go off to my publishers some time this month. To be published next year. I've also wandered off-piste a little and written the story of Smallhope and Pennyroyal. It was supposed to be a short story but I'm up to 98k words so that's me in trouble. Why are there no women in the security section at St. Mary's? There are such strong women in every other area of these books... except maybe technical, but Polly Perkins always seems lumped in with them, even though she's IT.... OK, so second question, why are there no women in the technical section? This has always seemed like a big miss to me in books that are otherwise so empowering towards women.

I have read all your books. They make me cry/laugh each time I read them, I restart the series each time a new full book comes out. Luckily for me I started reading late in the series. How do you pick the events in history? I am in the US and in my 60's so I really don't know much of English history and I love it. Any thoughts about doing other countries?
