Samantha Peck This is incorrect - if you listened via audio book I can see how that would sound like one phrase but it's written:

"Do you remember how I told you I realized it was a gift, not a curse?" (Xaden)

"Yes." Back when I was in his bed. (Violet)

So that second part is violet's own thought/narrative not something Xaden says.

Daniel I don't think so. But they are afraid of him. It took more courage for him to do what he did than all of them possess.
