That alternate universe sounds like fanfic bait... There are many different ways it could play out, positive or negative.

I think Nefertiti would be happier with Jin, actually. And vice versa. I do see the appeal of gene-engineered pets, though.

Sorry about question below, character limit. Presumably deaths normally occur at a more or less steady rate, then there’s a war & sudden upsurge in violent/traumatic deaths, do the gods recognize that as war? Unless upswings in the death count in one part of the world get evened out worldwide? As the gods can’t comprehend boundaries, how aware are they that one of their favorites may be causing all that carnage?
